Just replace your post with the words 'I'm a turkey and posted in the wrong thread' and will understand trev.

wink
Or just swap the 'beef shin' for 'rabbit' in your post laugh

I may have to do that.

Our Daughter came to stay with us this weekend and although she eats most normal meat and fowl I was firmly told that neither her or our 2 year old Grandaughter, who is not a fussy eater at all, were not going to be eating anything that had at anytime been furry, fluffy, cuddly, pretty or cute. So that put a stop to the complex rabbit dish I was planning then.

My entry has therefore been deferred until next weekend and I have a couple of dishes in mind depending on what game is available and what time I have.

I'm moving to a new property this Friday that has a brand new 6 induction hob, 2 oven, grill and plate warmer oven!

Be rude not to try it out on this comp. wink

(PS: yes I did sign the house off on the size of the cooker biggrin)

(PPS: I also got a new Canon G16 camera for christmas I haven't used yet)

A whole extra MONTH??
That would be well out of game season though which would kind of defeat the object of the comp confused

Does it not freeze?

I know that's cheating somewhat, but...

Not cheating at all. Not everyone has access to fresh game and therefore buys it frozen.

This was actually our Christmas dinner, or at least the meaty part.
Venison loin having been sealed in the frying pan about to be wrapped in pancetta and then slung into the oven for 10mins or so.
Locally sourced too, our butcher gets red and roe deer from local lads who cull the herds.

I'm just off to shop for ingredients.

Tonight's meal is already sorted and I can't cook anything on Saturday due to Rugby and Beer so it might get done tomorrow night or on Sunday.
