I like pear cider, but only Kopparberg for some reason, Ice cold and the sunshine = perfection at the minute. Strange, I used to be a big cider drinker, gone off it now... Kopparberg is the only one I like!
I was round at my mum's on Sunday and she brought out a non-alcoholic, sugar free version.

Stay with me here...

It was a really nice alternative for when you're the designated driver for the day but have got a thirst on.

Crabbies ginger beer is good too. Couldn't do a session on the stuff but it's a great summer drink.

did she call it apple juice by any chance? wink

normally, a cup of yorkshire tea with one sugar (fk you tetley) is a good thirst quencher but not when its hot out.

a pint of frulli is good as a start to a day in the beer garden.

'Perry' is a bit like 'Champagne', it's not really champagne unless the grapes are grown in the Champagne region. Same with perry.
I see the angle but there isn't an area of England called Perry.
There is in Cambs! Little village not far away from Kimbolton on the outskirts of Grafham Water. (no Perry produced there tho' AFAIK)

Having spent the last week in Spain and 30c, I have come to the firm conclusion that nothing is more refreshing than a proper Mojito, even though drinking it all afternoon brings it's own issues!

ice cold on a hot day there is nothing as nice as this. It's called doogh, try it if you find it. It's an acquired taste but when you get the taste for it, you'll accept no substitute

Mango juice to drink. Cold grapes straight from the fridge are a very refreshing snack.

Kinnie, either on its own or as a mixer.

Just a pity it's not sold anywhere in the UK apart from one Maltese social club in north London.

I import mine from Germany, but had the benefit of getting it anywhere I wanted in Malta over the last few weeks!

Check out www.kinnie.com

Shandy, use any old beer, John Smiths or the like is good.

Can't be doing with ice in drinks I want to drink quickly, little bastid lumps get stuck at your lips and stop you getting the liquid down yer neck. So everything has to be well refridgerated and ice-free.

You're all a bunch of women...

Nothing beats a cold beer (probably Veltins or Staropramen).
