Party punch....hot spiced cider.

Per two 500ml bottles of dry cider:

1 cinnamon stick
1 mulled wine spice bag
2oz Demerara sugar
2oz pear William / eau de vie or brandy
1 clementine, quartered

(I made 6 bottles worth)

Bring slowly to a simmer, remove the spices, serve hot.

That's a surprise. Can you better that tomorrow ?

For a change - cross comparison of rums - Capt. Morgan vs El Derado 15yo.
Hardly a fair comparison. In fact - Capt. Morgan free to good home.

Back to whisky at breakfast time.biggrin

Glengoynse 10, never had it before and like its lot. It says it's a highland but it tastes like a lowland malt to my mouth.

Just a 50ml sample, I might try their 17 yo if I see it.

Homemade 2 year old Damson Gin. I'm on my last bottle, and down to the last 1/4 of that frown

I feel your pain...I have half a bottle that I can't justify drinking because it'll be my last as I didn't get myself sorted this year for another batch.

The 17 is a great dram.

Glengoyne is situated on the highland side of the fault line but it's matured across the road on the lowland side. I tend to think of it as a lowland myself but probably more due to the fact it's made with an unpeated malt.

Had a few Remy Martins tonight whilst stuffing my face with choccies!
