But if it's a bacon sandwich/roll it should just be lots of butter and then let the bacon flavour do the talking. Sauce on bacon, sacrilege.

Agreed, I'd only have sauce on bacon if it was accompanied by egg or sausage.

OK never mind this red sauce brown sauce mustard nonsense. I have a much more serious issue to contend with - no bread in the house!!!

How is a man supposed to affect satisfactory moppage when breadless?

Just replace the beans with some sort of fried potato...beans don't belong on a full English
