Tried the breakfast wrap, its not what it used to be IMO. Are they using smaller hashbrowns?

The wrap itself seemed smaller. Think I will go back to the breakfast roll tbh, seems better value.

Sigh.

Stopped in today with the kids as we had been to ikea and it was an easy lunch. Wow, it is massively expensive for what it is these days, would rather pay 25% more and go somewhere decent tbh. The whole point of mcdonalds was it was cheap, quick and easy. It's not any of those things anymore, if they aren't careful I rhink they will price themselces out and people will surely go to burger king or wendy's etc?

Have you seen the price of BK recently?

Tbf it’s still relatively easy but you have a point on quick and cheap. I’ve all but stopped going as I’d rather pay a little more and have something decent.

Speaks volumes of McDonalds' low opinion of their customers sticking some Frank's Red Hot Sauce on an old burger and marketing it as something new, but fair play they clearly know their market.

Give it a whirl, you might just like it. Jalapenos were a nice addition too.

I popped in to BK the other day, looked at the prices and decided Five Guys would be about the same price so went there instead.

It’s not Frank’s hot sauce it’s a mayo with the sauce in it and you get jalapeños and cheese too. Certainly every time I’ve ordered a mcspicy I’ve put cheese on it so the additional bits are nice. I think the mcspicy is the best burger they make but it needs to be better shaped to fit on the bun properly!

Agree with what the next poster says in terms of when you look at Burger King prices you may as well go to five guys.

Credit where it is due today. I popped into one of my closest McDonald’s today for a quick bite before an afternoon of meetings. It’s usually pretty good in terms of quality and temperature but today it outdid itself and the meal presented was probably the best McDonalds meal I’ve ever had. Fries that were well cooked and piping hot and a Frank’s mcspicy that was a really good temperature, nicely built and just the right amount of sauce and jalapeños etc. it’s still a Maccy d so it’s never gonna win mega awards but 10/10. If every meal was to this level they would be looked upon much more favourably.

fast food just made for Instagram.

i went to Wetherspoons had the double america burger was a lot better than mcdees effort.

the problem with these big chains they spend so much maximising profits, they have lost track of what they actually started out for.

The bread to meat ratio is well off with that

As per other thread I paid £62 for 2 burgers 1 beer 1 shake and some jumbo tater tots
The patty and bacon were actually nice if the grilled cheese had more cheese and was greasier it would have been better

Crikey. Pretty hard to justify that for burgers

I paid £32 for a burger in Miami Airport (incl 22% tip) and thought that was overpriced even for an airport. Of course I was in transit to a country where you can still get a decent burger combo for just over a fiver.
