What's all the fuss over Weber BBQ's?

I thought I was avoiding being cheap by buying the proper Webber cover! There weren't any other more expensive options!
This. I bought the only cover in the garden centre - a proper Weber one. Given the quality of the BBQ I'd expected the cover to last more than 18 months - iirc it wasn't cheap - 29.99?This conversation reminds me why I went elsewhere for a bullet smoker...
My ProQ Frontier Elite uses the same quality materials, has some improved features such as temp probe grommets, and comes with a few excellent quality accessories - including a high quality cover...
Was nearly a hundred quid cheaper too.
I still rate Weber, and the kettle I've got is utterly superb, but they don't half take the piss with add ons and accessories.

Lasted 7 years so far and looks like new. Still think its expensive for a bloody cover.
