Chilli Beef Pot Noodles are good.
I find I go through stages of being addicted to spicy stuff and these hit the spot.

Not to me.

I had the best burger of my life at Five Guys burger shop in the USA and it looked a lot closer to the one in this picture than it does to the gourmet burgers we have become used to salivating over.

It was a great burger and taught me that two fat and flavour packed patties can be better than an 8 oz steakburger and that a soggy brioche roll can be better than a toasted bun biggrin

Are those the microwave ones at about a quid a pack (in 1990's prices)? If so they dashed the hopes and dreams of my student house... and were probably the only 'babs to be brought into the place and end up in the bin.

Think so. I remember buying a 2 pack some years ago, I binned it i think, offered the other to someone else at the first opportunity. They may have improved since - I'm sure alcohol before the meal is a pre req, too! smile

redcard Their 'Dynamite Hot' chilli is very good and doesn't belong in this thread.

My personal favourite is Bombay Badboy Pot Noodle but I add extra water, chilli powder and curry powder so after the noodles are gone I can enjoy a spicey hot gritty soup.

I'm ashamed to say, I've always been fairly partial to spam!

Spam, fried egg, mash and peas.... yum!

The fatty bits on a lamb shank should be chopped up and mixed in with the gravy, not pushed to the very edge of the plate like randomly appearing anomalous slugs.

^ Those when the edges are crispy too, nice. And the cheese that squeezed out the back of the toasty machine scooped up on top of the toasty.

Culinary delight.

I always toast the bun slightly, cook the burger in the microwave.. Stick the cheese on the boiling hot burger from the microwave, bun together.. Squash. Job done.

Haven't had one in ages though frown
The only thing I do differently is add a bit of lettuce. I normally like my burger buns toasted, but there is something satisfying about a microwaved burger, bread and all, so that the finished product feels like a hot floppy edible dish cloth covered in melted cheese in your mouth.

As you havent had one in a while, I'll have another for you biggrin
Heres my second one, with the bonnet up.

Never have bits of microwaved horse stuck in my teeth tasted so good!
(I suspect the trick to getting away with these threads is posting before lunch time)
That reminds me, I must buy the new issue of Hustler...
