Hi there,
Should be easy to find Stagg if your quick. The 2013/14 allocation has just been released so there is stock in the UK. Having said that we had three bottles delivered last week (all sold now) and that was classed as a 'big allocation'.
Regards
Tim

Anybody know anywhere currently selling a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 20 at all?
Hi there,Not sure this helps, but happened to be in a bar in Manchester today and they had Pappy 20yo on the bar.
£10 a shot mind you, speaking to the bar man he had just put the price up as he had heard about the supply problems.
Regards
Tim
Apologies for the bump, but I've been looking at bourbons lately after trying bulleits and really liking it. Local offy has a limited selection and accepted recommendation of Silverhorn sour mash. It's not a bourbon and it's sickly honey sweet.
Will try to find one or two of the above.

I think the Silverhorn won't be particularly pleasant!
It's hard to get a decent choice of bourbon in the high street.
Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Makers Mark and Bulleit can sometimes be found in larger supermarkets.
Failing that you are looking at mail order. I tend to use TWE. They have a good choice, delivery is always reliable and you can get some money back from Quidco.

Have a look at Evan Williams, Rittenhouse and Four Roses. The Wild Turkey range is worth a look too, but I find the 101 reminds me of Weetabix!
If the budget will stretch to it, try a Rye as well. They tend to be more spicy and have a flavour all of their own, so they are not considered bourbons, but "rye whiskey". They are not as sweet as a bourbon. More of a sipper than a glugger. Bulleit do one (green label), and the Old Overholt is excellent too.

For all of you guys that like Pappy... Larceny is a darned good substitute and difficult to find in its' own right.
The Whisky Exchange has it!

Been through a few bottles of this but it is, IMO, not a patch on the Pappy 15yo. It is about 1/25th of the price though! The Whisky Exchange has it!

If you like the regular Woodford Reserve, give this a go.
Picked some up in Paris (at a Nicolas) for the absurd price of 38 Euros. Close to £50 on Amazon.
