Another visit to Rusholme Chippy. We were going to have one in Al Quds and one in the Chippy to compare but Al Quds was closed. Probably due to Ramadan as a lot of Wilsmlow Road was very quiet.

I love Ruhsolme Chippy, I really do.

If there is one thing this thread has taught me is that your northern filth looks much tastier than any i can get near me.

Are kebabs a good enough reason to move house i wonder?

I first lived in Rusholme in 1986. I live quite a few miles away now, but my lad has started going to a school which is just around the corner. He finished school early today and that was all the excuse I needed to go and pick him up.

I feel bad posting it a "dirty" as it is seriously nice food and not really that unhealthy - apart from the portion sizes which are pretty generous. You regularly see people sat at a table sharing one.

I was in Manchester this morning, nearly went there to get a kobedda for my lunch but didn't have time. Gutted!

Not take away but to bad to lower the tome of the other food threads so I thought I'd post this here ,when in Tenerife at the dinner buffet spotted this little beauty on the table holding drinking glasses, the waiters found it amusing and was at least half hour before one scooped it of with a tissue, then put it in the waste food bag.

Then again if bear grylls was posting on here we'd prob see a lot of this stuff.

What is the right hand side one?

Which does the best kebabs.. Al Quds or Rusholme Chippy? Determined to go next week. (after the gym laugh)

It's a chicken kebab, on the bone.

I think Rusholme Chippy is better, but not by much.
I think Al Quds is closed during daylight for Ramadan.
