I'm moving to a new place on Friday and looking forward to trying out the takeaways in the village. Just hope I can afford a takeaway after playing the bloody rent.

Been storing up a few things to try from past posters.

We have 2 Chinese, kebab shop, good chippy and the best curry house in the area.

Along we 3 really good pubs in close walking distance to fuel the appetite.

Drove past a new middle easten takeaway recently and thought I should give it a visit. This probably won't be dirty enough for some of you sick bds, but todays lunch -



Shish taouk meal. There was some chicken hidden under those chips along with another flatbread. Most of the salad was discarded aside from the pickled cabbage. Not bad for £4.50, not quite as good as my regular middle eastern place which is a stones throw away from this one. But then again those guys are closed at lunchtimes.

I'd walk away after posting that if I were you, I dare say run as most of the posters hear probably struggle to walk.

Anyway, be gone with your artery unclogging healthy snack.

There's almost more salad greens than meat content. As such - not dirty. Must try harder.
