pretzel buns. hovis do a similar thing, around £1.60 for a pack of 4. a little firmer than normal buns and wont disintegrate in your hands like brioche buns or the buns from five guys do..

Pretzel bun, pretty popular in the US but you don’t see them that often here.
Cheers both they were far better than Brioche. I make bread often but never looked at Pretzel as I hate the jaw breaking dried stuff with a vengeance!! Found this recipe I'll be trying............

Never heard of boiling dough before - except for dough-boys or dumplings in a stew.

Wingstop ? Ain’t cheap darn sarf’ here I’m afraid to say.

I’m heading up to home/gods own country this Friday - proper fish & chips, and a cheeky Chinese on the books.

Where’s the rest?
Looks like some deep fried chicken tenders and a few chips. How can that be 18 quid??
London prices I guess

Where did this robbery take place? Is there CCTV?
Victoria Market Halls, London prices and then some!

Should be closer to £8.50
At that price I’d have bought two portions

Butchies in Victoria Market Hall. 6 tenders with fries, 2 dips and a soft drink. To be fair it all tasted rather nice, a rung above usual chicken shops but still the price is daft. Glad I’m back on home turf now where that sort of cash buys a lot more food

I went to the one in Canary Wharf the other week for the first time, I have to say it was the best chicken strips I've ever had. And the wings.

They were very good but you would expect them to be at that price

I had 15 mins to get some food before heading somewhere. This was the only place in there that could do it. Ah well

Back in the Uk, in need of ‘proper’ Chinese takeout….

Salt and pepper ribs - really, really good! (Mini spring rolls, not pictured)

Chicken & black bean sauce (decent)

Finished off my mums sweet and sour king prawns (a bit sweet)

Cheap as chips and super tasty.
