There's a lot to be said for eating with the seasons, sounds like it may have been a bit early for a good supply; the winter has lingered with cold temps lasting longer this year.

My apartment is surround by fields growing royals. It amazes me that you can by them cheaper on the mainland than I can at the road side farm.
