I've got a flat bottomed Tefal one that works fine on a ceramic hob. Got it from John Lewis for about £20 on secial offer. It's about 35cm across at the top and plenty big enough for a stir-fry for two.

Get yourself down to your nearest oriental food supplier and buy one.
A few quid; maybe £15.
Season it well and stick with it. Don't use detergents when cleaning - just hot water and a stiff brush.

Don't buy a Ken Hom one. The non-stick is awful.

I bought a Meyer one, which is great.

Although 26cm is a smallish wok.

yes I've had one for sixteen years now, they take a while to season but when they do they are great to cook with.

I have an Ikea Pyra wok. It cost about £3, and it's actually very good! 35cm, two handles, non stick as well.

And if you can't be bothered traipsing around Ikea, you can get one on eBay for £6 delivered...

Even if it is rubbish you could buy 10 and just use a new one each week. hehe

You need to keep a wok for years, for it to be any good.
Spend sensible money on one and keep it.

I've only recently learned about what the Chinese describe as 'wok breath' - ie. the flavour that the wok itself imparts to the finished dish - hence the importance of the right materials, seasoning and age.

ETA: interesting guide here:
