Vindaloo .... phew!
Discussion
The first time I tried some of this (at uni a good few years ago) it blew my head off.
More recently, I've really been getting into what I consider pretty spicy food so last night, I decided to opt for a lamb vindaloo from the local ruby house.
Christ it was hot. But here's the thing, it was also pretty enjoyable. It wasn't too spicy that all flavour disappears behind a wall of fire.
I'm not one that goes in for dick swinging contests where curries are concerned, and I certainly wouldn't have it every time we go for an Indian but it's definitely something I'll have again.
