Brick Lane - which restaurants curry favour with you?

A group of us are heading over to Brick Lane next week but, even though we've all lived in London for years, not one of us has ever been out for a curry there.
So, any recommendations? Being such a popular area (a la China Town) I imagine there's some real rotters dotted amongst the gems so we'd want to avoid those
