ETA Are The Levellers big enough to headline still? They've played the Pyramid in the past I believe and even though they're not a particularly high profile band these days they're Glasto legends who're already in attendance...
They put on their own festival these days: http://www.beautifuldays.org/
Ned's are also playing so that has made the decision to go nice and easy for me!

Their own festival doesn't stop them putting in at least one Glasto appearance every year it seems. I believe they've got the usual Thursday night Leftfield slot again this year? Hopefully it won't be raining quite as hard as the last time I saw 'em. It was absolutely torrential and I was just outside of the tent...
It looks depressingly likely that Dizzee Rascal will be the one to get the gig. He's one of those marmite acts that everyone else seems to love, but I'm really not keen on personally.
On the upside, despite being hopelessly far fetched there is a vaguely credible rumour that Jimmy Page has been approached to get Led Zeppelin to put in an appearance. Don't think for a minute it'll happen, but the meer thought of having Muse and Led Zep on the same bill has already caused me to let out a little bit of sex wee.

That pictures got me excited now too. The night time atmosphere at glastonbury is pretty much the best thing about it for me.Has anyone here seen Gorillaz live before? I'm not a huge fan of Damon Albarn and the whole cartoon format is a bit weird, but I can see the potential for it to be good if it's well done, particularly with people like Mos Def and Snoop Dogg said to be making an appearance. My first reaction was 'meh', but thinking about, it could be difficult one now if they're any good.

plastic beach is excellent and I thought they were good live on jonathan Woss the other night - could see how a live show would be quite entertainingGassing Station | Music | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
