Have you tried Hurts yet? I've only given it one listen so far, but was pretty disappointed to be honest. Maybe I need to give it time.

Man Alive is an excellent album though, brilliant from start to finish.

Not as complex or as deep as their best stuff IMO, perhaps an attempt at wider commercial appeal?

Saying that I don't dislike it except for the last few, if you like Scribble there are others on there that are similar, but none as lively sounding at that one.

I'm going to see them in November, funny thing with them is that some album tracks I don't like sound really good live.

Ahh just as I thought it would be like. I will probably buy it at some point in the future rather then right now then.

Underworld remain in my top five gigs of all time biggrin

As I understand it he used to post on here under several layers of pseudonyms, might have scarpered as soon as someone realised who he was.

Hurts is really growing on me fast, it's Man Alive's one I'm not too sure about.

I'm with the kenbher on this one. Happiness disappoints me but Man Alive is great. What's that chilled-out one at the end which is like some sort of Underworld vs. The Beach Boys mix?!

Frou Frou - Details. Somehow this passed me by until this week.

Also this week I've bought the Garden State soundtrack which seems to be persuading me to buy some stuff by The Shins!

Amon Tobin - Supermodified

Only discovered him the other day by chance whilst reading a Youtube comment, and i'm already a massive fan. I'll definitely be buying more of his stuff. Just brilliant.
