Oh yeah! How could I forget that! Though, saying that, I found that the soundtrack was brilliant in the show but doesn't work quite so well on its own for me.

Yeah, another good call, but as above for Twin Peaks, I can't imagine it working as well without the movie providing the context.

Trainspotting.

THE best mix of Underworld's Dark & Long

Iggy Pop's Nightclubbing

A most unusual use of Bizet's Carmen as a background track.

And this:

Honourable mention to Crossroads. Crap film, crap actor, but the final sequence was recorded by a certain Steve Vai:

Wot, no Bladerunner?

Oh well, no chance you mainstreamists would recognise Stealing Beauty then (even if the best track in the film, Roland Gift's gorgeous 'Say it Aint So' doesn't feature). Watch the film for Liv Tyler and stunning Tuscan scenery if nothing else wink

Great soundtrack.

For me it's either Almost Famous or Singles... Or any other film by Cameron Crowe for that matter.

Pump Up The Volume also had a good soundtrack
