I saw them perform that song when they were supporting the Damned (Black Album tour) back in 1980/81?

Pure crap hehe

Everyone knows that 'News At Ten' was their best song ever.

Here you go...

That ^^^ version has a rendition of 'Trains' on the front but 'News At Ten' comes afterwards.

Coming to you from a bloke that has a cassette tape of New Clear Days and Magnets in the carthumbup

Fvcking love the Vapors me... yup I really really really do.

Mentioned on here already but it deserves a link;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ggPaJEWn_U

Contains one of the greatest lines in the history of popular music.

"I was so upset that I cried all the way to the chip shop,"

But if we are being serious for a minute.

John Peel's favourite song. There can be no better recommendation.

hehe

The line "just another hero from a land that doesn't care" always struck me as cloyingly poetic, considering the delivery method

Does anyone remember a band called 'Snuff'? The used to play all their songs at 100mph and were fond of doing punk style covers of advert jingles. One's that spring to mind were 'Do the Shake and Vac' and 'Tasty! Tasty! Very very tasty! They're very tasty!'.

They also did a cracking cover of 'I think we're alone now'.

Unfortunately bunging 'Snuff' into Google or YouTube doesn't bring up the desired result hehe

ETA: Found it! Not the best sound but what a band!

Snuff - I think we're alone now

Check out all the stage diving.... ohhh the memories!
