That takamine is lovely.
Really under rated IMO

2003 Gibson les Paul classic
This has got zakk wylde EMG's

Next is my takamine EF300w
Only 200 like this sold in Europe, sounds awesome plugged in.

Last but not least my Gibson ES335
this one I use for band duties, check us out https://www.facebook.com/EgoHoney
The others are just to enjoy!

All in all they play as good as I want them too, they all sound as good as I need so I'm happy with this little trio.
I have a fender start mim and a g series takamine to leave in the shed managed to set the strat up my self very nicely, fluke I think.
On stage I use a Hughes and Kettner 18 tubemiester mic'd and the 335 sounds lovely on the cleaner songs.
Love all your guitars they all look so character full. I don't intend to buy anymore now, I shall just cherish these. Well, never say never with guitars.smile

Yes, I brought several of my guitars from Guitar Village... I find they tend to get decent guitars in.

Don1 - The Dark Fire is interesting s a guitar... but I find I don't play it much these days. When I first got it, I played it a lot but the novelty wore off and I went back to my Les Paul Studio - which I really love as it was set up to perfection for me by a guitar genius!

Cheers.

Thanks rolo, kind of why I like them, that and the neck is just perfect for my left hand smile I love it, and after a few hours of play she is sounding even better! So tempted just to get a little Roland acoustic amp because it sounded mega when I tried her out in the shop.

I've got a takamine eg260c, first guitar I bought. Cracking little thing, pretty well made & through power sounds decent too. Always fancied one of their high end guitars.

Here's my eg220 the electrics are shot and she has a few war wounds! Played her solidly for about 7 years now, think that's why I wanted the Japanese one so bad smile

Thanks. Still chuffed. I also have an Orange Micro Terror which is terrific as noted. Good crunchy sound, remarkably loud and very portable.

I have one of those, and based on advice from my local shop I now use it through a Vox 110NT cabinet. Or sometimes through my Marshall 4x12, but the Vox is much better than the Orange Cab and much more portable than the Marshall.

Here is my Japanese Fender Jaguar, upgraded with a mastery bridge and Seymour Duncan pickups.

Pretty much my only guitar right now, I liked them at first because of all the chrome and switches. It's actually a really comfortable guitar to play, the neck feels great to me and it has a really smooth tremolo.

I'd love to get my hands on an American Stratocaster by the end of this year, or possibly a Japanese Jaguar Special HH in black.

Have you seen the Blacktop Fender range? Really great Humbuckers in them, might be worth a look as they do a Jaguar one as well as the usual suspects.

I definitely need to find a shop with some of those and have a little play. Fender seem to be coming out with all sorts of different and weird concept guitars at the moment, I'm not sure what I think about them just yet.

Yeah they have been really well received, they sound really good and aren't to pricey either.

Fairly common guitars, get not sure how many Jaguars you'll find stocked, but Id wager anywhere that stocks fender that isn't tiny, would have a Blacktop tele or strat for you to have a go on.

Yeah the candy red is a real killer with the strat.

I played on one about 2 years ago, loved it, then I got my Jackson, about 6 mounths ago had another go on a blacktop in a local store, the action felt really high, not sure if it was set properly but I'd like to have a second go, the Humbuckers had a really sweet smokey tone.

Did someone mention shortscale? I have a Fender Musicmaster Bass - with the strings swapped over as I'm a lefty - my first bass bought in 1982 for 50 quid, but she's in a sh*t state these days in need of a total respray and fettle, and perhaps a more powerful pickup to replace the strat/not strat pickup that originally went in it.

There was a feller on here a while back with a teeny tiny short scale late 50's Fender music master & he loved it. Did look a sweet guitar.

Limited Edition number 19 out of 60.

I'm told Macca has number 60 - no idea if true or not.
