That is going to be nuts, particularly Heck... they can be quite intimidating if you aren't used to that type of performance!
Well that was brief , they came on 8.30 and it was all over 9.15!Not sure if he's really intimidating though , the bloke from zoax is always out the back of the crowd , scholars do the same.
He's got a very impressive vocal range from crystal clear singing to a roar, but a 45 min headline set WTF
Well my Mrs wasn't sure what to make of him- not used to it haha.
They had a 50 minute slot in Cardiff and Swansea. I guess because it's a co-headlining tour and both bands only have one album and some EP to draw from, they can only do short sets. BMTH aren't much longer and they have quite a few albums but I guess with the change in sound they only really play from the last two.

Gary Numan last night at The Copper Rooms in Coventry; many many, things to moan about; but the man still delivers a brilliantly slick and powerful show I will never darken that particular venue ever again
There was a pillar that blocked many people's view and a fight broke out by the lighting desk over people pushing back in carrying handfuls of pints (mainly it seemed for their female companions who were necking a load of ale) The Assembly Rooms in Leamington a couple of years ago was so much better.

Quite excited as I have 3 tickets for the next couple of weeks!
Next Monday it's Lloyd Cole and next Tuesday it's St Etienne.
The following Tuesday it's Suzanne Vega and on the Thursday I'm off diving for a few days in Lanzarote.
Going to be a fun couple of weeks I think and then the long haul to Christmas...

On Friday I went to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom to see The 1975 perform with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra for Radio 1's Live Lounge. It was just as good as I expected. It's on iPlayer if anyone wants to see it, which I highly suggest you do!
I'm going to see The 1975 again in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks and to say I'm excited would be quite the understatement!

Back from Skyharbor - they were good. New vocalist took a little time to warm up but was good when he got there. Sithu Aye were the best on the night IMO - superb guitarist and the rest of the band keep up with him too. Modern Day Babylon didn't say a word to the crowd the whole time they played (maybe because they are czech) - but they make a big big sound for a 3 piece. Local support were a band called Eclipse from Merthyr, they weren't bad in fairness. Although one of their fans that had come along with them was falling on the merch stand before they even finished their set... bit embarrassing really!
