Was it you who made the same comment on the YouTube vid then? In the photo it looks a bit like John Cleese's beard in the stoning sketch of TLOB laugh

Ah, You mean pointy headstocks.

(Or as I would call them, pointless headstocks.)

Blasphemer!! Pointy headstocks ROCK, especially reverse pointy ones smile

However, I also love the classic Fender headstock and the Charvel one:

Not a guitar but I've just ordered one of these:

I love Mesa/Boogie kit, I used to run a strategy 400 and a bass 400+. The articulation in the. 22 calibre combo is gorgeous. A match made in heaven with a PRS Custom.

From my point of view the sound, how they play, the design..... oh, everything? But then again that's my point of view and only important to me and no-one else.

That one is a really well balanced colour palate, hopefully the owner is really happy with it.
I love telecasters but not being the 6+ foot managing director type i struggle with the scale length. I do love my gold top Les Paul though

Well I suppose my aversion to pointy headstocks is simply because they tend to appear on guitars with which I personally would not be seen dead.

But as I'm always saying, it's a good thing our tastes vary, otherwise we'd all end up fighting over the same guitars.

I reckon luxxtone do the best headstocks, reverse one looks great, not quite fender ,not quite pointy, but to me they just look great

Yes there's something about reverse headstocks, I have a reverse Strat neck lying around here at the moment. I'm still trying to decide what to put it on. I was going to build a twin-humbucker Strat but as I already have enough twin humbucker guitars, decided against that.

Except that one looks as though it's been dredged up from the North Sea.

Especially when it's pretending to be old.

I definitely don't get the old thing. If any of my guitars get the tiniest of dings it makes me whimper.

So it's my 40th today. Something turned up. Mrs Don1 has done very well!

I guessed as soon as I saw this...

Yep. A real one!

A few other bits and pieces in there, signed gubbins and a 'story' book about the guitar. Damn. Very happy!

What is that? From the shape and headstock I want to say an Ibanez Joe Satriani model?
