I watched her on Johnny Ross and the thing with the tea cup and her great pains to get it into every camera shot was tedious. I did come away with the thought that she was a pop or style "creation", but I see I was wrong about her actual talent.

You do realise that she's written songs for people before she adopted the Lady Gaga persona? She is actually talented and that much is obvious from a few different things she's done. She's also clearly nuts but I have very little doubt that it is a character she plays and in no way reflects her personally. As for her music, it's better than most 'pop' music out there.

In my opinion her music is amongst the worst pop out there, and epitomises what ste pop music has become.

It's st isn't it, Radio in this Country is so limited and polarised. You either put up with retards like Moyles trying ever so hard to appeal to the illiterate hiphop generation and their associated rap and pop or you have the senior, PC bores who have zero interest in music and lamentable people skills playing pop music from the fifties. There's bugger all in between, how many times have we had threads running yearning for smart DJs who have a modicum of wit and a healthy interest in music of all genres that will appeal to anyone not in a knitted jumper or baseball cap?
