I used to like Radio1 too, but am getting increasingly annoyed with it now. I think the main problem with it is that a lot of the DJs are just getting too old for it now and are in danger of sounding like an embarrassing aunt trying to be cool and down with the kids... e.g. Jo Wiley.
Also, what was all the crap about Aled and the drinking experiment. Pure propaganda in my mind - there was no way on earth they were ever going to say that after having his few pints every night he was actually still OK.

No mention of BBC6 Music? It used to be very good, has gone downhill a bit chasing a younger audience, but is still streets ahead of Moyles, Mills, the lobotomised Nihal and the other retards on Radio 1. Having said that, they have replaced the excellent Gideon Coe (mid-morning show) with someone who appears to have been too thick even for Radio 1 - some complete idiot named George Lamb.
Mark Riley, Steve Merchant and Adam & Joe have decent shows on 6 too.

Radio 1 have several DJ's Sarah Cox, Moyles, Mills who talk so much there is no time for music. I guess this is to make up for the others whos shows are dedicated to music evening shows are the best for this, less talk more music!. My trip to and from work is only 10 mins and if you listen to Radio 1 it could quite easily be talk radio for that trip!.

I used to play a game where I would switch to Radio 1 when Sara Cox was on, and time how long she lasted before she talked about herself, her interests or her then-DJ husband.I don't think I ever got over a couple of minutes.

I like Greg James, he is funny and young so should be at Radio 1 for a while. Then again, remember that idiot Wes Butters!

Arrrgh someone used the Wiley word! Surely she has to be the world's most boring woman, OK respect for her encyclopedic (sp?) knowledge of music and bands etc, but we dont need to hear about it aaaaaaaall the time. Play the song, just play the f**king song, that song there, the song thats cue'd up just play the f**king song!
