I dont normally go for movie soundtracks (OST) but one i really love is from the film Layer Cake.
Whoever chose the tracks did a brill job :-

1. Hayling - FC Kahuna
2. Opening - Ilan Eshkeri, Stephen McLaughlin
3. She Sells Sanctuary - The Cult
4. Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head - Kylie Minogue/Ulterior Motive
5. You Got The Love - The Source (featuring Candi Staton)
6. Drive to Boatyard - Ilan Eshkeri
7. Junky Fight - Lisa Gerrard
8. Making Plans for Nigel - XTC
9. Ordinary World - Duran Duran
10. Ruthless Gravity - Craig Armstrong
11. Four To The Floor (Soulsavers mix) - Starsailor
12. Drive To Warehouse - Lisa Gerrard/Ilan Eshkeri
13. Aria - Lisa Gerrard (with Michael Gambon)
14. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - Joe Cocker

Anyone got an ost they think was spot on?

The Craft - my favourite

Grosse Point Blanke - I liked that one too, not sure if I've got too many "e"s in the title..

My favourite song placement in a movie though has to be The Pixies - Where Is My Mind at the end of Fight Club when the buildings start collapsing. I can't remember ever hearing a song fit the scene quite so well.

I love that track.

I actually have quite a few soundtrack albums so it depends what mood I am in.
If you want to mellow/chill out, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Meet Joe Back or Twin Peaks (bit creepy) are good.

For an 80's feel, Top Gun and Days of Thunder are good.

Deep and moody Terminator 2 or Total Recall.

As soon as I saw the title I had the same idea, it's got a permanant place in my autochanger....perfect I find for driving on a motorway at night, no idea why but I just love listening to it in that context
