Batchelor Life in Dubai..........
Discussion
I decided to go for a walk around the Marina today (never, ever again!!), and I can see now why people were talking about the traffic. My side (The Address) is fine, there is no traffic. When you get the other side JBR and the Beach Walk it is awful!
It is just a building site, and I feel for anyone that has a place in JBR as it looks like a bomb has hit it!

In fairness, JBR is particularly bad at the moment due to the tram works. I believe we have another 3 weeks of the road being limited to one lane in either direction which is causing the traffic to back up as far as the Grosvenor, (at least) when at a peak time. Add to that the constant tweaks at the Tamani/Westin junction and getting home in the evening, (Torch Tower) is a bit of a pain in the proverbial. Its been slowly getting worse and then a bit better for as long as I can remember and hopefully will be solved more or less for good soon. It will never be great, but it is slowly I think getting there. That said, I'd need a very good reason to move closer to JBR than I am now, but this area works for me for now. I work in Abu Dhabi most of the time so really need to be at this end of the city..It is just a building site, and I feel for anyone that has a place in JBR as it looks like a bomb has hit it!
