not missing cylinders, but i've just been grooming my bmw beard via the internet and it could be missing some horses.

81 of them to be precise! US spec cars were 240bhp up to 2000, rest of world had 321. from 2000 they had the same engine.

might go take a look if i have time this week but not interested unless it has a proper engine!

Even Ms were 240? That does seem low. I know that the US and Europe got non-M straight 6s that we didn't get in the UK.

The US got the 3.0l straight six, whereas Europe got the 3.2 straight six. My 97 M3 Evo has 321 bhp.

both specs used 3.2l engines, just vastly different in spec.
