Non owner selling car

Hi all,

Long time lurker here. I've been in Duba for a few years ibut on Pistonheads for some time before that.

Anyway, I hope one of you may know an answer on selling a car for my daughter.

She is leaving Dubai in the next few weeks and is selling her car. If it doesn't sell , does she have to transfer it to me so that I can sell it as the owner or can it stay in her name and I sell it for her.

I believe she has to transfer it to me but I was thinking that one of you may have e pereinced this before and may know if there's an options or me to sell it.

Thanks for the replies. I'll just do the transfer if it doesn't sell before she goes.

According to RTA, we can do an NOC but she has to give me power of attorney.

As most of you have advised, we'll just transfer it to my name.
