Hope you are all safe and well.

From what I can gather from Gulf News http://www.gulfnews.com/nation/Traffic_and_Transpo... it was pretty horrendous.

When will these people ever learn?

So the RTA's (Road Traffic Authority) solution to the issue is not to increase driver training and standards but to close the roads when it gets foggy.

I really do despair! That fact that it is even under consideration is ridiculous.

Also - can someone tell me what the alternative route is from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?

chop in the cayman for a bad boy wadi basher and go via the sand?

I did the reverse for the CS! Had a Grand Cherokee before (as well as the S2000).

Might get another as it is being missed and the ife is doing her driving lessons starting tomorrow!

Hahaha - I've been coaching her on Forza (with a full wheel and pedal set up) and she had to go and do her simulator test last week.

First off, the tester asked if she really didn't drive and then... why are you left foot braking? smile

She knows all about trail braking, weight transference, throttle and chassis steering and the friction /grip coefficient.

I've told her to get through the lessons then I'll show her how to do it properly.
