Just won a competion for a couple of hot laps up at the Autodrome this Thursday in a Porsche GT3 Cup car, driven by a GT Cup driver (mores the pity).

So if you hear of a runaway GT3 escaping down the Bypass Road that'll be me!

Will take the camera up and if I can ever figure out how to post pics will do so on Thursday afternoon!

Yeah it is the media day and won it from P-Trac who I believe are associated with ARM. Cheers for the tip Harris, will keep an eye open for the Orange beast and Paul.

Starting to get really excited now!

Wow! What a drive that was amazing! Those GT3 cars are amazing! The noise, the grip are just daft. I looked down at the speedo as were passing corner 1 and we were well north of 200km/h as we passed the 100m board with still no sign of anchors being dropped!

The thing that amazed me was that you can wander in and out of the pits at will and get up close and personal with all of the cars and the drivers. Nothing like a UK race event, will definitely we going up for a few of the races.

One of the coolest cars was a little Renault Clip Cup racer, looks the dogs bks!

Car of the day has to be the Maserati GT car, when it started up it was like someone had distilled the essence of motor sport and turned the speakers up to 11.

Some pretty hot totty up there as well!

Harris, Paul was not there on the day unfortunately.

Johnathon, great to see you again!

Harris, it was Tarek elgammel who drove me round. Was first in the car on the day so took a lap or two to get temp into the tyres/brakes but after that it was one of the best experiences I have had in a car. Just amzing how you can feel exactly what the car is doing underneath you.

Not sure who is driving the Masser but it sponsored by Cytec and Gulf Sport (car 47). The exhaust note is something else.

Phil, apart from the Masser the car I wanted a spin in the most was that Clio it looks like enormous fun. Was chatting to the driver beforehand what top guy. Really friendly and has some good tales to tell.

Will also second that about access, maybe we could organise a PH meet at a meeting? Not sure if there is the possibility of a couple of ales up there either during or after the racing? What say you all?
