Wider rubber than standard isfine but it has to sit under standard size and shape wings as available on road cars for CSCC. So, for eg, Escorts mk2 "x pack" wings are eligible but the group 4 style arches are not.

Hope that's clear.

That'll be me out then sadly. There were no arches available for road cars.

Mark, that's a shame but if you build the car around standard arches you will have more places to race the car in the long run.

Too late, I'm afraid.

I actually built it for hillclimbing and sprints and have always wanted a Group 2 replica E21.

I might be wrong as I've not double-checked, but I think Dominic Malone's E46 M3 CSL will have BMW's SMG sequential gearbox.

I finally got round to uploading the race from Pembrey!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLISQoj6GyU

My team-mate for this race had a great battle with Pete Morris' 996 for the lead, until our gear linkage broke. The battle starts at roughly 25 minutes in.

I didn't bother with the wet race, due to steaming up of windows and the camera housing, you can't actually see much....

Hope to see you all at Oulton smile

See you there Andy.
What do you guys do about transponders ? Do you have them all fitted to your cars or rent them ?

We're at Oulton in our 911 SC in both Future and Modern Classics, looking forward to it although we fired our Alternator in the last round and its not back from being rebuilt yet.

No 'minimum' time, basically come into the pits, engine off, undo belts, get out of the car, get back in the car, do up belts, start engine, go.

Is that turn the key and start. Or push it halfway down the pit lane and hope it starts????

Oulton park tomorrow. First time at this track. Luke is driving on his own. Any tips. Apart from keep it on the black stuff, and only 2 wheels over the kerb!!!

Don't worry dad I've been watching YouTube videos and practicing on my 'simulator' (GTR2).
