You seem to have a real bee in your bonnet about this for some reason. Are you connected in some way?

Maybe tense was the wrong word. However, I and my companions, all regular race go-ers, found that engagement a good battle that readily held the interest as well as the other action throughout the field. Maybe it helps that I can find enjoyment and entertainment from a drivers actions without them actually performing an overtake.

I had absolutely no issue with the rejigged programme and enjoyed a full day of motorsport for a very reasonable price. It's also nice that Brands serves pretty decent coffee as well.

Thanks for the offer of improved medication, I think I'll pass. wink

RF as you can tell I was there til the end, like you and your friends I can enjoy the aesthetics of good driving. The price is extremely reasonable compared to other entertainments. There are lots of imponderables but a crowd of 3000 max dwindling to less then 500 before the end can't be good. No, I'm not connected but Brands needs to bring in as much local support as possible (as does every circuit) to resist the NIMBY tendency. It's often the case that support events help to stagger the crowd leaving but in this case there really was no need to spend 2 hours doing it. Apologies for being overly sarcastic in earlier post.

I'm just thankful that I could get to Brands, watch fantastic racing (with plenty of space from which to pick a good viewing position), have a very reasonable soss, chips and beans and get home again all for comfortably less than £50!

Still a little worried about the continued ringing in my ears though. There goes that bloody doorbell again!
