TV Coverage, how important is it.

From my point of view I, like 99% of club racers have no sponsors and hence have no interest whatsover in being on the tv - personally I like to keep my racing private and I don't think I would race in any televised series.

Well I was heavily featured at the 2nd showing of the Lydden Hill Festival race with good close ups of my car predominately throughout the race and at every advert interval and did the phone start ringing more? No! Well maybe with a few cold callers trying to flog me stuff. Same as an ad I stuck in Track Driver, no response what so ever, for me advertising is a complete waste of money and time.
