Ah sorry, can't give you an answer as I got my HIDs off eBay at a very good price, I think they were advertised as HIDs for a Smart car!

why not just get the 40mm H7U if you are unsure as the bightness is the same and it will give you another 5mm clearance from bulb end to glass..? fitting is the same anyway... if you ebay it for the whole stuff make sure the ballasts are stainless and the bulbs are the better quality with ceramic ends etc not all plastic....

ok ordering a kit and just seen also you can get 55w and 35w...

the 55w changes the colour and brightness too.

ideal setup is 55w /6000k same colour as 35w/4200k but brighter..

im looking at changing the position of the dip beam too to a different location... just need to speak to my mot tester tomorrow about min heights.

with my day time running light(which dont turn off with headlights), this will be bright)dom

Car failed MOT today on HIDs..... Lucky I had set of normal h7s in me pocket that I whipped in quick hehe but it would be wrong for me to comment whether they got whipped back out again... :-)

why did it fail.... no self leveling?

Self level and wash system.... Changed 20th march on mot on quite a few things apparently... Just when you wire them in make a provision to be able to swap back the halogen with ease....ie a T in the input voltage to the HIDs to disconnect and add.
