oh right ok boosted. just wondered as i have heard some US EVO guys runing 1100bhp monster 2.0 lters using them. they said after 30 drags they would strip the engine and check the rods for strech. they also said it was the onyl wayu to get the bearings to last any amount of them. the super high preusre and high rpm, (50++psi and over 1Krpm) where distroying bearings.

is/was that the 930 4spd box with the bigger dif?
was it the aluminium flywheel that broke and caused the failure?

Great looking car, i like the level of detail, Especially the steering wheel.
Yes it's a 930 box with a Guard Billet CroMo diff.

No it wasn't the aluminium flyywheel that broke, the billet aluminium flywheel was installed after the accident. It was the starter ring gear that came of from the Ultima original steel flywheel. The ring gear was spaced out from the flywheel to match the 930 starter and obviously that wasn't a good solution. (not Ultimas fault at all)

BTW it happend at 9160 rpms smile
