The front springs rattle on hard cornering as they are shorter than the shocks.

However that's quite a 'deep note' rattle... not really like pinking.

You can see this when you jack the car up and let the suspension hang.

I had a similar thing which sounded like a ringing noise which rose with road speed.
It turned out to be the drive shaft needed re-greasing.
Once done it stopped immediately.
Its an easy 5 minute job if its the same problem. I just reattached the boots with tie wrap.

Dom hi,
Difficult to tell without hearing but I had something just like this a few weeks ago -symptoms, metallic rattling sound just of idle getting much worse on acceleration / load.
Turned out to be a lose exhaust manifold bolt. I have never heard an exhaust blow sound so metallic, I thought I had a rocker cover full of spanners moving at the speed of the cams.
Anyway a couple of mins with a ring spanner should tell if you have the same problem.
Cheers,
Nick.

cheers guys... will have a look during week... Initially as it was coming out of corners under hard acceration i wondered if it was the diff working overtime, and only you could tell me as its a porsche diff experiance required...But will do all that was suggested as its worth doing anyway..

hi checked driveshaft bolts, drive shafts, exhaust headers etc etc...all wish bones are ok as well ... all rose joints tight

i have also removed the front and rear antiroll bars as Richard advised that is why i had a bump steering problem....

Going to give it a run on saturday and maybe check timing just in case and check ride height as well i have corner weight scales at work so if i change the height i can recheck the weights... keep you all informed... thanks for ultima experiance suggestions
