AC wiring problem

Guys,

Ive been scratching my head trying to work out how to wire up the AC switches and fan, cant work it out from the build manual or Clive's drawing.

Can anyone help with this.

Will try this in words cos I can't easily edit your pic. If you have Microsoft Visio I could send both Clive's cct. and my edited version which covers my additional wiring and clarifies some areas like this.

Centre of your view shows a five pin block which is the heater/ac fan switch the two pin below it is the ac thermostat and switch. The five pins are marked so mark up your view as follows.
Top pin..........M. Has red wire going to ac/heater fan.
Left upper pin...L. Has yellow wire to fan.
Right upper pin..H. Has orange wire to fan.
Left lower pin...B Has green wire from fuse 1 (ignition switched live)
Right lower pin..C. Has Blue wire to ac stat.

From this you can see most of your upper view is correct apart from the black wire.
The ac/heater fan also has a black wire which goes to a suitable chassis earth.

Now for the logic.
Switching on the ac/heater switch puts power to the fan via red, yellow, or orange dependant on selected speed. It also puts power to the ac stat via pin C blue wire.
If the stat is on power goes (grey/red) to the ac pressure switch fitted in the top of the dryer unit. If this switch is made (system has pressure) they power goes (grey) to both the ac clutch and to the ac relay pin 86 (relay 3 at fuse/relay panel) this makes the relay which passes un-switched power (Brown) pin 30 via pin 87 (Red) to the ac condenser fan (short blue link)(Side grill).

That's it I think but feel free to ask questions.

The green wire bundled with the grey/red had me stumped as it looked too small for a feed for the fan... its going to get replaced.

Is this how it should look?

Yes that looks fine.
Agreed with the gauge of wire compared to the wires from the motor. You have to think that the motor manufacturer has more of a handle on the size required.
Having spared up loads of wiring under the dash by using the Stack dash I just used two greens paired up.
