Tinted Windows

Now that is crafty, I wanted tinted windows on the can-am and the guy told me that because the side windows curve both ways, in wasn't possible to get a decent finish, but you seem to have achieved the impossible, well done ! Did you heat the film slightly to work with it then ?

I was told that the bigger problem with using window tinting film is that it will not 'stick' well or for long. This is due to the electrical nature of the poly, the film is not attacted to it in the same way that it is on glass.

The other problem, in the UK at least, is that they are illegal unless they let at least 70% of light through.

Will people let you out at junctions though? If I can't see the driver and establish a nod etc and that they're ready to pull out I tend to ignore them.

Yup - side windows in front of the B-pillar (not that there's any behind the b-pillar as the car hasn't got one ).

Windscreens have to let at least 75% through.
