The guy with username stig on here, any of you know what the times for his mega beast are?

I read his profile, and that car sounds like a McLaren F1 smasher???

I think you will find it's quite quick compared to other Ultima but really, really ing fast compared to almost anything else.

I've not got any test times etc. but I find that it's 'sufficiently' quick

It's not the 0-60 that's impressive (but I reckon that's in the low 3's) but the 60-whateverspeedyouwannago.

It's just linear drive, no lag, no drop in performance, just pure power

The top end is limited by the gearing, probably about 180 at the moment and have seen 165-170 on the clock on Revitt straight at Snett. Little point in upping the ratio's as I didn't build it for flat out speed, more 'usable' ratios on road/track. That said, a longer 5th or even a 6th gear would be a good idea on longer cruises.
