ok there are so far 5 ultimas going to the gtbattle on the 25 of june and we are all going to have a go at the sprint i need to work out which is the fastest way to do the sprint (0 - 60 )i have yet to do a competetive sprint .will a straight 1st 2nd gear blast do or will it be better to go straight for 2nd and slip the clutch a bit any ideas will be a help .simon

ha ha nice one g-man ,what rpm is 60 in 1st don,t know if i have enough ,could pump tyres up a bit .come and show us how its done !

hi gary don,t know what 7000rpm is in 1st ,if it ever stops raining i might have a practise althought i can hear the valve bounce and crunching gears from hear !!!! .simon

holy crap,there is some interesting ideas,i thought it was just a case of giving it large and holding on,g-man will you bring your car it would be great to have it there ,i have a company who will sponser us a trophy for the fastest run if we want it !!! simon

ok ,so i do the perfect getaway a spot on change and the gearbox does not blow up whats the best time i can do ? 970 kilos 500 bhp ish = ? ....... simon

its quite difficult to use a stop watch and the speedo as most speedos read fast ,it will be interesting to see the results ,ultimas dont have much of a advantage on a 0 to 60 run ,nothing much works but great traction i feel the 4 wheel drive boys are going to give us a kicking !!!! simon.

what we realy need is someone from the factory to come down on the 25th and support us and show us how it is done !!!! would be a good p r exercise for the factory . i for one would enjoy the support .simon
