Ordered this today, Sky just managed to get in their 2 week install window with 1st of April. We have a tricky installation where previously they've wanted to drill the wall which we don't want. It's just a sloped roof below the dish next to an opening window, so hopefully we can just pop on to the roof and fit the LNB ourselves, the guy on the phone seemed to think we could (or that a private install could be done).
To confirm, we did get the £99 fee waived for loyal customer (16 years).

Just ordered. Not a bad deal I thought. £50 install plus another £99 for a second mini box. I had to upgrade to Movies but I can cancel after a month. So not counting the movie package the monthly sub will be £4 a month extra. Also most important of all, I get to keep the F1 channel that came with the HD pack.
I now have one month to watch all the saved programs on my existing box.
Just had ours installed today
Went with the silver + 2 mini boxes
Very impressed so far, but the touch remote's taking some getting used to,
It's very sensitive, I accidentally touched it with my leg and managed to rewind the film I was watching back about half an hour
Install took about 1 hour 30 minutes including fitting a new dish
Only thing I'd change so far would be to have to the home button bring up TV guide instead of defaulting to top picks which I've no interest in

The touch remote is rubbish it often locks up and doesn't respond I say it's the remote as the other works fine. Also YouTube app goes crazy and won't respond to controls
If I were you I'd try and get the remote replaced as it sounds faulty. Mine has never locked up even after using it for 6 months.I gave in and ordered when I received an email offer of £99 off the upfront cost. I can sell my existing 2TB Sky+HD box and make the £50 back fairly easily.
Installation is on Thursday, only downside is that I will lose a couple of hundred hours of recordings from my current box.
Looking forward to having decent multiroom and improved wifi throughout the house.

Just ordered mine, however looking at the comments on here, not too sure, as people suffering hardware issues...
I went for the Sky Q silver bundle, with two mini boxes, £149 to pay. Already Sky Fibre BB customer and 14 years loyalty. They gave me half price movies for 6 months, which means going to ditch Netflix, as their movies are so old...
Did anyone set up their own hub, or waited for the engineer?
Thanks G

WIth the hub setup it now connects direct to the phone line so I could ditch the old sky hub plus the BT fibre box that was plugged in, less cables, happy days.
Had Q installed yesterday, first impressions:
The kit is nice, small, unobtrusive and feels like quality products. The touch remote is going to take a bit of getting used to!
The new interface is all snazzy which is initially impressive, but I'm finding that the workflow (i.e. the process to get to the things you want) is a little clunkier than it used to be. This may be down to me needing to adapt. The display of images/screenshots from programs initially seems nice but the reality for me is that it makes getting to the content you want more cumbersome.
I suspect the problem is for me is that Sky's focus with the Q service is that it's very much more an "on demand" service, a la Netflix/Prime. This means the on demand content is shoved down your throat at every step of the way.
This isn't how I use my sky box, so I'm finding things like getting to the TV guide (previously one button press) now requires five or six button presses. Navigating the planner to access your recordings seems harder, but again I think I just need to adapt.
The "My Q" feature seems good though - straight to the next episode of the last series you were watching.
But my biggest and most severe problem - I now have perfect WiFi signal all through my house thanks to the hotspots - which seems great, until you find that frequently your phone or tablet will claim there is no internet connection available, even though the signal is perfect and the boxes are all reporting a functioning connection. Need to work that out fast, because it's going to be a killer for me otherwise.
So once I adapt, and get used to it, I think it's going to be a winner - but not without some interface issues that I think I will always find annoying. I don't need to see a screen cap from every single program on every single channel thanks, and to me certain parts of the interface (particularly the box in the bottom left hand that shows what channel you are on) already look very dated to me.
