Bose earphones - target to get robbed?
Discussion
I've never been a Bose fan however since I spend lots of time on the train I picked up a pair of qc25's and they have been great, they cut out the noise but you can still hear sounds with them on and no music playing (handy if wearing them down the street) they don't hurt your head or get hot.
Mine broke and Bose sent out a brand new pair with no fuss or drama, if buying them again I would go with the wc35's for being wireless and sounding better. If sound quality is your thing then there are others out there, both cheaper and also more expensive.
I've just got the wife a pair of wireless sbose sound sport because she didn't want the over ear type and she really likes them.

Interested that a lot of people are recommending isolating in-ear headphones not active noise cancellation. In my own experience I found a pair of Bose QC 15s (borrowed) much more effective than isolating ear phones. However, my isolating ear phones are in the £20 price range, is it that you get what you pay for and get massively increased noise isolation with the ear phones recommended above? The external general construction looks very similar to the ear phones I already own.
Get some Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7NC...about the same price, better reviews and the thieves wont have heard of them!

Depends what you want out of them. The Bose units are good at cancelling constant noise like airplane engines but are not amazing.
If you're going to spend that kind of money get some Etymotic ER4 and change the cable to a lightening one when you get the IP7
