Question as per title really.
All other channels are Pro Logic 2... is this correct, or should I be getting DD 5.1 on BBC1 etc?
You should be able to get DD multi-channel audio on a variety of HD channels. But...It is program specific, though. I find BBC One programmes are mostly 2-channel DD which is then mixed into pro-logic by my reciever, with the 'headline' programmes like Frozen planet etc in full 5.1. Whereas everything on GoodFood HD seems to be in 5.1!!!All other channels are Pro Logic 2... is this correct, or should I be getting DD 5.1 on BBC1 etc?
You need to make sure, however, that your Sky HD box is hooked up to output audio via the optical out though, as it can't pump out anything more than 2 channel through the HDMI. Given you're getting 5.1 on the movie channels already, then this is probably irrelevant for you.
