Has anyone ever fitted a TV to the wall but in the corner using one of these corner brackets. I'm in need of a new TV and as I have a massive fireplace, I don't fancy putting it above it as it would be too high and look st. So it can go in the corner on an Ovid stand or on the wall, but it may look st on the corner wall.

So has anyone ever done this and any pictures?

Thanks

Look at the better (£200+) pull out brackets. Some may have the length to pull out and around the fire place.

But then push back flat when you are not using it.

Cheers, that's a very good idea. I'm now thinking a motorised version would be good!!

I have my old 43" on a cantilevered arm that is fixed to the left hand of the chimney breast, and the TV sites across the alcove to the left. No pics, as am not at home.

When you get home? I'll buy you a virtual pint. Please?

Telly swung into the gap...

Telly swung out to illustrate the cantilevering...

Hideously dusty bracket, with trailing wires so the illusion of floatiness is maintained...

Apologies for hideous photo quality - the Blackberry has manfully taken up duty, now the latest Vodafone patch seems to have induced terminal death every time I try to take a picture.

Thank you very much. I don't think my chimney breast is deep enough to take a tv on the side. I was thinking more along the lines of having on the wall in the alcove?? And then pull it out and tilt it a bit so positionally similar to having it on a stand in the corner. Hmmm....... Decisions, decisions
