Samsung Smart TV and Sky
Discussion
When setting my sky +hd remote to work with my new samsung tv one of the steps is to select the channel which sky is connected to. As i have sky running through an HDMI channel, how do i input this as it is asking for a number (i.e. 01 for channel 1, etc.)
Any help would be appreciated

I can get the sky remote to work, it is just when you go through the process required for the type of TV it has a few additional steps to this which require you to input a channel number for which sky is assigned. This is where i am getting stuck, i have set it for now to go to 06, so when you push the Sky button on the sky remote, this sends a signal to the TV to turn to channel 6. What i need this to do is to go to channel HDMI 1. So the problem is how do you enter that on a sky remote which is looking for a numerical response.
Any suggestions?

You need to undo your last step you only ever needed to do that in the days when you did actually tune sky into channel 6. Press TV, the select and green then TV and this normally undoes it. There isnt any programming that you can do with a sky remote to make the TV go to HDMI when you hit the sky button. You can make the TV default to HDMI1 on switch on though, is that what you require?
