Im in Ewell (Epsom) so a stones throw from the A3 and can get to the M25 np.

Depends on the route you chaps were thinking of taking prior to my thread.

There are one or two others in Epsom who may also be going, but cant speak for preferred routes.

I assume its same meeting place as last year at a similar time? (have not received the .itn file or confirmation email from David yet)

Convoys make sense as we will all get to the start ok then. I remember last year accidently going through the Blackwall Tunnel on the way up as I was half asleep to find they had shut the bd thing the other way.... loads of Tivs getting lost around London! banghead

Seems to be a few people utilising the A3 from Guildford direction.

Perhaps a good idea would be to meet in Tesco New Malden Carpark, at XX:XX (yet to be decided)as there is Tesco 99 for those that use it and a Shell / Esso next door too for those that dont to take a route through Tooting, Balham, Clapham Common to Elephant & Castle as trhat time of the morning will be clear and we can wake all residents up in this area with the rumble of TVRs hehe

Or alternatively a route up the A3 to Clapham, Elephant & Castle which is longer but one road all the way ....

any thoughts? ears

Sounds good. Anyone want to meet at Guildford Cathedral en-route to New Malden?
Or there is that large service station on the A3 ... is it BP? I know there is a wild bean cafe in there burger just to throw another option in.

Seems we have the possibilities of a West Surrey Convoy and an East Surrey Convoy which makes sense.

West Side appears to be going up via the A3 and East Side going up the A22 readit

So... gonna start a list for the A3 (West) Surrey Convoy:

A3 Surrey Convoy:

1. m0ssy - Tuscan

Add to the list, we can then PM each other and swap any numbers and details a day or so before driving

I agree Dan thats why 2 convoys make sense in Surrey. We have to get up early enough as it is, let alone travelling miles to a meeting point that isn't en-route. As long as we leave by 0500 from a designated meeting place on the A3 we should be fine

I think the A22 is not in Surrey...the M23 is also not in Surrey...but never mind biglaugh

Pease Pottage Services http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Besides that it makes sense
There is always one to split hairs.... hehe

Croydon counts as a part of Surrey to me and the A22 kindof goes past it wink
