Did you see the IMAX preview?

Nothing else will do for me now until I see that film.

I must be the only person in the world who doesn't think Nolan's Batman trilogy is the second coming. They have some good points, good villains, good characterisation, dark as is required of a Batman movie but for me the stories were a bit boring and the action scenes very flat. Ho hum. I'll wait to see if the 3rd changes my mind.

I don't know if it's because I was expecting what he said, but did anyone else think Bane's voice was a lot clearer than in the previous trailer?

Disappointed ...... I thought a new trailer was released when I saw this thread frown

Tom Hardy as bane excites me tremendously. One of the finest actors out there, and this role suits him down to the tea. This mixed with the genius directing skills of Christopher Nolan makes this film impossible to flop. At least I hope!

It does have an awful lot to live up to.

The level to which the Batman franchise was taken with TDK was spine-tingling. Possibly the best film of that year and the years either side. But the cast is stellar for this film and (let's hope) the trailer can't do it justice!

Getting excited.

Tom Hardy on Jonathan Ross's show pretends to get pissed off and flips at an old bit of film of him modelling is shown, to wind up Wossy. I don't think it's been shown yet so might be this weeks...

It's on the net at various sources. Looks interesting.

It really is worth it on the IMAX.
The flight scene is Scotland (in real life) and it is just incredible watching the landscape cover your entire line of sight.

Nolan was I believe reluctant at first to push on to 3. It took a lot of convincing regarding the script before he agreed.
I would much prefer they keep the standard high and the story tight than keep stretching it out.

I expect there will be more Batman films in the future but this is the conclusion of CN's Batman.

Yes, a shame. I liked Nolan's Batman, very grounded.

The next one will be pat of the Justice League, and that means Bats next to Superman, so it will need to be a totally different style.

It will be very interesting to see what they do with this, the two charcters are rather incongrous. I hope they keep the dark tone of Nolan's Batman (something he got spot on) rather than try to lighten the mood to fit Superman in who is very much portrayed in a much lighter tone, especially on film.

Batman in JLA could see him portrayed in even darker fashion depending on what comic book run they draw from.
The Superman/batman relationship is often very spikey in the books.
