I'm still trying to work out if it's OK to have a bit of a thing for Susie Dent.

with Sally Bretton gradually becoming less and less convincing and almost pantomime-like in her delivery.
She's moving out, and going to live with Kris Marshall now. wink

I liked that too. It's getting back to where it should be

It's perfectly acceptable, join the club.

She'd win if there was a choice between her and Rachael.
Lucky girl.

Back to being funny again after the previous dreadful episode.
Almost as if the 2 episodes had different writers

I enjoyed this one much more than the previous ones in this new series. Maybe because it was basically back to the original format, no kids around, easy to forget the change of setting and situation.

The less kids, the funnier it is.

Indeed - I'd not watched since the one with the kids in the car, but watched a few on iplayer yesterday, and this epsiode (and the marriage guidance one, a little less so) was a welcome return to form.

Susie Dent's late arrival was very funny and (for me anyway) unexepected!

The one with the school story was, again, disappointing, although it had a few 'smile' moments.

New series started last night.
Garbage. Utter garbage.
Used to be brilliant. Not any more. I lasted ten minutes.

I actually enjoyed it. But then, comedy is subjective.

I liked it as well. It got really good after about 11 minutes in smile

Not as good as it was at it's peak but much better than the lowest point - the cable car debacle.

Any sitcom that includes the line "When you've calmed down, you'll realise what a great joke that is" is clearly struggling.

I'm liking Sally Bretton with short hair...

I agree, not as good as before but still much better than Miranda.
