Why did Simon shoot himself though, the day of his Wedding. If he had been wronged he wouldn't have been so keen to see Adele again and carry on as normal.

This is so good because we aren't told things, we spot them for ourselves and nothing is being (ironically) subtitled unlike some programmes that need no thinking to follow an obvious plot.

I've missed that's what Simon did. I only got that his death wasn't an accident. When did they let that little number out?

No all you know is that Thomas has told her that is was a Suicide. Yet the night before Simons wedding he was really happy? I think Thomas is playing games as he has been doing (keeping simon secret, cameras etc)

Seem to remember something about a car crash with Simon, and that his mother was also killed.

Sorry if I'm missing something but I thought Simon was killed in a car crash the day of his wedding to Adele? Hence the priest commenting 'that everyone knows Adele's story'.

You're missing the bit last night where Thomas the Copper told Adele that 'accident' was just what the priest had asked them to say to her when they turned up at the church with the bad news.

Thought something similar myself! Something about the way the camera lingered over the dam and town in a shot from the first episode. It made me wonder what had been upstream in the valley before it was dammed and what destruction had been caused when it was filled. Thats when Victor died methinks.

I thought the level in the dam was dropping of its own accord (unexplained), and they were pumping (mysteriously appearing) water away from a seperate powerstation/transformer (comments about being worried about the powerstation being flooded)

Yep, the powerstation was getting flooded (pumping water out from it) but they couldn't find a leak. But the dam water was still dropping.

The guy in balaclava came for victor and Pierre battled him?

Doctor going to kill herself - may be dead? Maybe died when attacked 7 years ago?

The man in the balaclava appearing was Victor's doing. He brought him back maybe to shoot Pierre. Victor was asking about hurting people previously.

I think the Dr is already dead, as is the most recently stab victim miraculously healing in hospital. Would be much easier/less risky to wound herself and see if it heals quickly rather than jumping from the window. I guess that doesn't make for compelling viewing though.


The dead animals in the dam may have drowned trying to escape the Hunter/Stabber. It is looking like he has an insane blood thirst and needs to feed on fresh kill regularly. The stabbing victims in the underpass may have been because he was hungry, nothing to do with a weird fetish.

Only bad thing is just waiting for Sunday to come round again!! Only a few episodes left I think - are we at 6/8?

Hope it's not one that just leaves u hanging - but then again of course it will

A. Won't want to kill the cash cow
B. wrapping it up nicely would prob ruin it.
