It was just a rehash of placing the ball in the basket in the centre of the circle.
A rehash but inferior in every way, hopefully they'll adjust things for the next series.

Is the climbing wall likely to feature?
Climbing wall was a safe enough game as well.

I always like skytrack that was an ace game.
The walls were definitely in the background so it’s gonna be there sometime

We're having a Gladiators party but watching delayed as one party member had a bloody hockey match to play in!

I like Bradley but he's just not suited to this.

I’m sure Gauntlet used to be harder, great to see Power Ball and Wall back though.

Legend is also a far better ‘bad’ guy than Viper.

That travelator really slowed down for the girls, so the winner was the first one who went after it was slowed.

I thought so too, he has a really grueling work schedule, of his own doing .

Gauntlet is tactics, hit and spin and the contestants know this.

What amazes me is how tired they all are for the eliminator, sure they weren’t struggling this much back in the day.

Bit of panto, nostalgia and competition, far better than the past reboot that tried too hard.

They don't work at all on Gladiators. Bradley is brilliant at hosting variety and quiz shows, his programme with his son is also fun, but they are totally out of place on Gladiators.

Legend is a good baddie.

Gauntlet is a bit rubbish. You just roll/rotate.

In Powerball, the male contestants looked as if they had never played rugby or wrestled. The female gladiators gave the contestants a lot of space.

The Eliminator does seem to be tiring them out. We don't know the timescales of the events, though. I suspect that the contestants in the 90s were probably lighter/less muscular. I do recall that some people struggled in the old version too.

Marie-Louise was an attractive woman.

My family are really enjoying it.

Loving it.

But definitely preferred Ulrika and Fash as presenters.

Just rewatched an old gladiators.
The Gauntlet is narrower in the old show. thus much harder.

Was a wee bit pleased to see there is a deaf gladiator in the show. Like myself, my little girl is deaf so it's nice that she can have a positive role model to follow!

The hand bike was a tough part of the original course If anybody saw the old glads go against the new ones in the rebooted failed sky attempt gladiator Predator(athlete Duane la degio ) did the hand bike in a blur the speed and explosiveness was something to behold.

Just as an update, we had a party night for the kids with another sporting family and we just loved it again. Even better the second week as we're now getting to spot the strengths and weaknesses between Gladiators.

BBC are going to need to push this series more as people are going to be really into it. Strictly and Bake Off have those mid week shows and if Gladiators did too my kids would be watching it all-they've honestly waited all week for tonights show. I even called in at a motorway service station to buy them a Gladiators magazine but there isn't one.

I think this might just be the surprise hit of 2024.

The travelator looked proper fast when the girls got to it first time.
benefits of rewind.
takes about 3 seconds for the arrow to get from the top to the bottom
First girl fell 3 times, 4 attempt it took about 4 seconds for the arrow to get to the bottom
And 5 seconds for the 2nd girls run.

Gonna rewind for the boys to see.
